A message from Dr Fibishenko

Welcome!

Welcome to the Third Mykonos Implant Rehabilitation Summit, and welcome back all those of you who are here for the second and third time.

The Mykonos Summit brings together like minded individuals for an impactful scientific, practical, cultural and social experience. The thirst and opportunities for further training and collaboration of past events have led to tremendous professional growth and clinical maturation of past attendees, and 2024 will be no different.

In this years event the general theme will be “options for patients and options for dentists” as we have brought together speakers from different corners of the world, who have very different approaches and very different philosophies, to teach and inspire us and to enable us to think outside the box when considering full arch options for our patients.

Sadly, two people missing from this years conference are Dr Masami Ando and Dr Rick Kline, who passed away very recently. They were both very special, immensely kinds and generous individuals, and the type of people who lit up a room. Professionally they were talented clinicians and generous educators who, in their own different ways, made significant contributions to advancements in oral implantology. Their legacy will never fade, and I am honoured to dedicate this years event to their memory.

My immense gratitude goes out to each of our esteemed speakers for devoting their time and bringing their expertise to our conference to help us pave the way into the future.

I would like to thank our generous primary sponsor Straumann, a company whose roots are deeply seeded in research and development with the People, Processes, and Products that have propelled it to the forefront of innovation in immediate full arch dental implants solutions

Finally, my sincere respect and gratitude go out to all of you, I am again humbled by the turnout at this year’s summit and wish you an enjoyable time in Mykonos and a great summer.
